I love running into ppl that grew up with Monty P., etc.
Waiting for G*d is my current favorite. Some other great ones were Two Ronnies, Reginald Perrin, Good Neighbors, Fawlty Towers, The Goodies, One Foot in the Grave, Chef, Are You Being Served, Young Ones. I remember As Time Goes By and Butterflies as being a bit too dry for me. I believe Geoffrey Palmer(?) was in both. to do the M.P. bits with someone well versed in the stuff. Been a while for me though.
PBS has been running it for a while now. It also helps when you have the books (2) with all of the scripts for the tv shows and the movies on videotape. Hey do you remember the girls names in Robin’s Nest? Terry maybe???
Not familiar with that one. be dull brained tonight. The current Keeping Up Appearances is good. Poor husband, neighbours!
Yeah, she’s a handful. I love the one neighbor who thinks she’s *v*l. a little clip where one guy says to a Bobbie that he’d had his wallet stolen and then asks the Bobbie to come back to his place, uh what else…so many.
Great one! Dead Parrot. Cheese Shop. Argument Clinic. Whizzo Chocolates assortment Bicycle Repairman! Anne Elk (I have a friend who can do both parts by himself and he’s a singleton too) One of my favorites of all time is in Holy Grail, where the French taunt the English -NOW LEAVE OR I SHALL TAUNT YOU A SECOND TIME! Silly English bed-wetting types. Oh the Robert Moore song…steals from the poor,
Dennis Moore! STAND AND DELIVER. Give me all your lupins. [it suddenly occurs to me that what they all say is true: I have too much time on my hands] I heard that when the one member passed on, the
Graham Chapman, r.i.p. I was stunned to hear of his passing. It was like losing a member of the family.

Yes! Fawlty Towers and now I love catching Chef when I spot it. Similar in a way I guess. Both with the "ang*r" thing.
Fawlty showed me how much input he had into Python. He’s great. The `incompetence abounds’ sitcoms are the best. Who do you think STARTED the war? Well, isn’t she? LOL What I find funny is when my M*m talks about the show and I look at her and my D*d and laugh to myself that she doesn’t see the parallel between the characters and them. ;)
They never do. One of my favorites of all time is in Holy Grail, where the French taunt the English -NOW LEAVE OR I SHALL TAUNT YOU A SECOND TIME! Silly English bed-wetting types. LOL Yeah, and the Black Knight…"it’s just a flesh w*und!, come back and I’ll b*te your kneecaps off!"
FUNNY scene.
