Direct Hit: Sector 1
Question:
One of my favorite remix services, Direct Hit seems to have been slowly but surely moving their selections toward a more progressive NRG sound. Back on issues 16 & 17 they began including more off center NRG tunes like Are You Out There by Crescendo, Insomnia by Faithless, and Fairground by Simply Red. A couple of days ago, I received their latest issue with fancier graphics, trendier sound and darker feel. The latest issue, "Sector 1" (can YOU say RAZORMAID flashback???) shows that although there is a bit of that twirly eurosound for those of you still into it. But it seems they are definately steering away from the more poppy & garage songs. Titles for this issue include: Robert Miles – Children Sunscreem – Exodus Bjork – Hyperballad Donna – You’ll See Grace – Skin On Skin Devone – Energy Umboza – Cry India BT – Loving You More Mary Kiani – I Imagine Man With No Name – Paint A Picture Contact em at 916-444-8448 Love, Sex & Balls! Your’s in supreme twirl-essence!
