Depends on how your Dr. counts your cycle. My sisters RE counts her cycles by the time of day they start–such as if she starts after 3pm….it’s considered the next day. Mine counts the 1st day—Call your Dr. Also, my RE orders clomid at night, before sleep. Good luck! JM I have had atrace of brown spotting for the past three days, but no more than that.If I count the first day of spotting as AF then I should start clomidtoday. Do you think I should or wait for a heavier AF? I am so worriedI will mess up. I took an ept today and of course it was ng. Also. does it matter if I take clomid at night? Thanks for any help!:) Kristen (;

Day one is the first day of heay flow. I spotted on Clomid also — usually for 2-3 days. It doesn’t matter when you take the pills as long as you try to be fairly consistant from one day to the next. The advantage to taking them at night is that many people experience fewer symptoms that way . . . the only disadvantage is possible insomnia. I found I needed to take the pills w/in an hour of bedtime or I would have trouble sleeping. Hi, My AF starts very slow to , like two to three days of very light spotting and I counted the first day spotting as day 1, do you think this could be why I haven’t ovulated for the 3 months I’ve been on clomid? thanks, Sarah – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – I am supposed to start my 2nd cycle of clomid on day 3.
