ID cover of Tragedy, British girl band?

Question:

Im sure Madonna and Faithless will be flatered that they are amung the ranks of Aqua, Vengaboys, Sash, Ace of Base, and Savage Garden. Instead of rank Sash stuff, try BT. He does a much better job of the same kind of thing, and he dosent rip off faithless while hes at it. —

I’ve heard BT’s stuff, pretty cool. I would get more of that stuff except Sash vs. Bt, well, Sash is more accesible here. Meaning, I have to go look around to find a cd with BT on it, while Sash singles I can find anywhere.   –Madonna and Faithless BETTER be flattered to be included with  Ace Of Base and Aqua!   In fact any group would be in their right mind better be happy to join the ranks of ace of base. Omar

Response:

Speaking of STEPS, One for Sorrow’s instrumental middle bit ripped off The Tamperer ‘I Feel It’ and the typical Trouser Enthusiasts ‘twiddly’ bit. Tina Cousins – Killing Time was a rip off of Insomnia by Faithless

’s the funniest thing I’ve read in ages… as though the Tamperer didn’t rip anyone off… (Wanna Drop A House/I Feel It) DG

Response:

I don’t know why you blame Sash! of ripping off Faithless, because it was the *Future Breeze* mix, not the original that sounded like Faithless… though the original version of "Encore Une Fois" was shite, it wasn’t Sash! that ripped Faithless off.  On the topic of Sash! "Ecuador" was a good dance release and sounded nothing like Faithless…. Steps?  You mean, "The Chipmunks on acid"? -Greg

Omar, i think I’ve heard you mention the fact the steps ‘RULE!’ about 18 times in the last month – do you have any other musical interests?  Is Pete Waterman your live-in-lover? Dan P.S. I don’t think that doing ’some’ vocals on 1 record actually qualifies steps as musicians myself, and I can’t help but agree with the bloke who was wondering what the 2 blokes actually do – I’ve never managed to catch any male vocals on any of their records.  In fact, while I’m in rant mode – if y ou can’t sing (they can’t sing – be honest) you should at least be able to mime – have you ever watched them on tv?  The girl who isn’t blonde – you know – the short dumpy one – Sing?  Mime?  I haven’t laughed so much in ages!  Looks like someone practising kissing fresh air! – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Listen to their first hit "5 6 7 8" they do some vocals on that one actually. About the "too happy" thing, uh uh, there’s NOTHING such as too happy in POP/DANCE music!!!!! THEY RULE!!!! OMAR

Response:
