Prozac Prozac Query……..How did it work for you???????????
Question:
I started on 20mg about six years ago, and it began to work in just under 9 days. It has continued to work for me–at varying doses–to the present. Good luck. It sounds like you might need a higher dose–you could try 30mg by adding a 10 mg capsule to your current dose, or just go to 40mg–that’s what I’m on now. JM – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Hi ASDers everywhere, I wanted to know of anyones personal experiences with people on Prozac? Like…time on it, dosage, effectiveness, but mainly how long did it take to notice any benefits, and the strength of those benefits druing the period of taking their Prozac? Is there anyone out there whos come or coming off Prozac, for who its helped? Im on it, have been for some nearly 3 weeks. Ive seen some benefits, but it comes and goes. Ive been able to sometimes "feel" things again, but its not very stable, im wondering if i can expect the next month of Prozac to help me recover fully or not – i wander??? Thanks everyone Hope your all holding up well Lee * Sent from AltaVista http://www.altavista.com Where you can also

I had mild depression a few years ago and took a low dose of prozac, 10mg. I worked great. I took it in the morning, which gave me energy. By night it was beginning to wear off, which allowed me to sleep. I used prozac for six months and then went off it. I haven’t needed it since. My husband, on the other hand, freaked out on prozac. He couldn’t sleep. His anger was out of control. He majorly freaked. I was scared. The doctor took him off it right away and gave him a more tranquilizing antidepressant. He did much better. Serianna – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Hi! I new to this news group. But I have had serious suicidal depression. I had councelling to start but then eventually I was prescribed Prozac. It was quite a slow process for myself as I started with 20mg and the eventually 40mg. To start it was as though I was not going to get any relief from the paronnia, sadness, anxiety, insomnia etc. But it worked I no longer take prozac after being on this for three years. Some days I still feel very angry and hurt love ones but I’ve managed to keep this at bay. I really do believe that Prozac works. I did put some weight on but soon lost it again. It was more probably to do with the depression than the Prozac. I wish you a speedy recovery and really hope the Prozac works for you. x-no-arvchive: yes 20mg per day. It took, oh, about 4 weeks to kick in. I had some dry mouth and sleep problems, maybe upset stomach, but they got better. It helped, it really did, made me more even, depressions were gentler, shallower. I don’t take it any more, but I might if the depression gets bad again. I hope it helps you.
