You belong in an Edward Gorey fairytale. 19th century England, gun-metal grey sky, it’s always just chilly enough to give you a cold, and children often become the victim of hideous, if not humorous crimes.

My favorite Gorey story(hey, that rhymes) has to be the Miserable Couple. If your not familiar with it, it’s about a…miserable couple…who’s past time is killing neighborhood children. They eventually get caught and both die in asylums. Great story. I recommend reading it during a first date. The Gashlycrumb Tinies has to be second.
