very OT: IBD and VCR
Question:
What kind of port are you using for your TPN? I could ask a ton of questions…I take it every night. Are the lipids mixed in with the rest of the formula? What kind of time table do they have you on? Using the CADD pump? If so, you do realize that you don’t have to sit at home just because of the TPN? I know when I first started taking it on a regular basis, I’d throw it in a fanny pack and hop on the motorcycle with the ol’ man and take off. That was more than a few years ago tho and the bike isn’t running and I’m not sure I could ride any more any way. Sorry, just never have talked to anybody doing this at home. libbydoo

IBD problems (namely me) !! And I think if you have a stereo tv then your best bet is a hifi VCR as it can play through all the speakers … I have my hifi VCR and stereo tv hooked up to my surround sound stereo and man the sound effects are great !! come visit my homepage: "http://community.webtv.net/MaryjoL/MYPAGE"

In Darwin Aust, I would expect to pay $AUD400-500 for one I have 3 vcr carcases lying around that all have minor probs that no-one is prepared to fix so am renting while we consider our next move. Greg A four head VCR runs from $79 to $179. I just got a Hi-Fi VCR for $109 at a local Walmart.

Hello Joy, the four head have 4 head to read , the 4 head stereo(hi-fi) will read the sound in stereo , if you have a stereo TV I recommend the 4 head Stereo Hi-Fi , plus you can connect it to a sound system for much better sound , , this it the same type that I have ( hehehe crohn have lot in common ) and when I’m sick at home I really enjoy it , plus if I don’t want to disturb anyone and suffering from insomnia ( damn pred) I can hook up my stereo head-phone to listen to TV and video with the sound comming from my stereo , then using the video to change channel . hpe this help Meekko
