Zoloft and RA
Question:
Due to insurance, long story, I was forced to stop Zoloft 2 and half tabs daily. No tapering down. Does anyone know what if or if there is any side effects?, fatal indications?, adverse reactions? As it is a relatively new drug, it is not in my PDR and therefore, I am not sure what effect going off this "cold turkey" so to speak, will have on me? my RA? my depression? Any info would be appreciated, Thanks Laurie

Hi Laurie, I have been taking Zoloft for 2 years now and I am ashamed to say that every now & then I go off of it. Yes, Cold-Turkey!!! I luckily haven`t had any *bad* reactions or experiences from doing this. I sometimes just don`t get out to get mine refilled. Right now I`m out so after a few days I started taking my Paxil, it was in my medicine cabinet since I had tried it a while back and it didn`t seem to be working. But now it is working for me….So I am going to finish my Paxil and then go and get me Zoloft refilled…..Wow, I wasn`t sure if I could explaine that or not!! I hope it makes sense.
