narcolepsy drug…?
Question:
>I have taken to chopping the pills in half (no easy feat to do
My capsules are scored so I would just break the 200mg in two at first. That was just for my first week to see how it affected me. I’ve been on 200-400mgs since. I take 200mg in the morning but if I have something planned later I take another. I just ‘feel better’ but can go to sleep if I want to. Micky

Hi I’ve been taking Provigil off and on for about 2 months. It helps keep me awake and I don’t seem to "drag" as much, but — side affects in me — it makes me very chatty and usually gives me a wicked headache a few hours later. I only use when I know I’m going to have to stay awake for a few hours and I know I’ll be able to sleep off the headache a later. Kate.

Hi I am also using Provigil (Modafinil) which I find a real help with fatigue, I have one question for you, I notice you are buying 100mg tabs and as far as I can see it isnt made in a lower dosage, have you found that 100mg is too much? I have taken to chopping the pills in half (no easy feat to do accurately as 100mg is too much for me, I have no idea how the folks with Narcolepsy manage on 400mg a day I tried 200mg for a week as prescribed and I was like a space cowboy Iused to get VERY hot when taking that high a dosage and also pretty hyper…LOL Just interested. I have found that the effectiveness dimishes after a single day. I take one every other day and this seems to work well with the "Provigil day" being quite good. If it is AMANTADINE, it is normally used for Parkinson’s, but helps, for some MS patients, with fatigue symptoms. From the RxList: ( http://www.rxlist.com/ ) | What do amantadine capsules do? | AMANTADINE (Symmetrel
