new drug

Question:

Has anyone ever tried Adrafinil or Modafinil?  I have read that these drugs have both been shown in clinical trials to be effective for ADD. They are both marketed for the treatment of narcolepsy (daytime sleepiness) in Europe, with Modafinil set to be approved in the U.S. in the next few months.  Thanks for your help. Kurt

I have taken Anafranil (at least that is what it is called in Canada).  Is it possible they are the same thing?  Is modafinil the brand name, or is it the generic (drug) name. Anafranil is clomipramine in the drug name if that is any help. I’m not really in the mood to post all the stuff from when i took anafranil if its not the same stuff…is it possible you could confirm or deny ;-) janet |When the wandering fire/ Strikes the heart of stone/ Will you follow?| |Will you leave your home?/ Will you leave your life?/ Will you take  | |the Longest Road?   Guy Gavriel Kay, The Wandering Fire              |
