Thanks Tal I was a little unsure as too weither snoring was due to sinus blockage but looking at it sensably…and now that I’m a little more awake
…if my mouth was open & because I was wearing FFM then the cpap would bipass nasal passages therefore no I shouldn’t have snored…Oh the beauty of hindsight and clearer thought processes

My doc has the techs check the machine twice a year to make sure pressure from machine is as prescribed. Also, if you report continued snoring, many docs will Rx a 1-2cm increase without another study. Talk to your doc. Maybe best bet would be an auto machine so that it could adjust itself within a range. Example if your pressure Rx is 14, doc could have auto set to range of 10-18 or some such. regards, eric pearson nonono.ericp1.non…@nonono.fuse.net On Mon, 12 Jan 2004 08:37:04 -0000, "Frankie" – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -<MfrankieY5SP0LE…@blueyonder.co.uk> wrote: >It has now been a month that I have been using CPAP. It has now been a month that I have been using CPAP. The first two weeks where great apart from the sores that developed with the nasal mask, but since the turn of the year I have felt an increase in my tiredness levels again and have been feeling unrefreshed etc. I thought that this was possibly due to the possability of mouth breathing with the nasal mask so thought I would try and master the FFM that was also issued to me. I have finally been able to sleep with this with no leakage at all now but last night I actually woke myself up snoring!! My sinuses have been really bad due to lack of humidifier, a topic I will take up at my next visit to the sleep clinic next week
but should I also be concerned that my pressure may need looked at again? Thought anyone TIA Frankie To Reply By E-Mail Remove ’MY SPLEEN’ http://uk.msnusers.com/LivingWithSleepApnea ————————————————————————- FIGHT BACK AGAINST SPAM! if you’re snoring, that’s a bad sign that you need to at least talk to your doc about — Beth in Australia (I am not a medical professional and anything stated in my posts is my opinion only unless specified otherwise) =================== FAQ for alt.support.sleep-disorder can be found here http://talhost.net/sleep Newsgroup Archives http://talhost.net/sleep/archives.htm this site is a work in progress – feel free to submit info/articles Remove my name to reply
