help with getting CPAP

If anyone knows of any organization that can help with costs of CPAP can you please email me. My insurance just denied my doctors request for a CPAP for me. While you are checking out other avenues, appeal the insurance companies decision. First level to the insurance company. Second level to the government agencies that oversees insurance companies in your area. Need more facts to help. We are accustomed to long posts on this NG. Post the results of your PSG and titration. What health problems do your doctors think stem from OSA? Are the doctors specialists in the problems you have? What about the doctor who requested the cpap. Is he a diplomated sleep specialist? What insurance company? HMO? Etc. etc. etc.

Dig out your plan booklet, go through your appeals process.

You might want to try calling or writing one of the companies who make the machines. Some companies do donate machines like that as a good will effort for people of low or no income. You sometimes can find cheep CPAP machines on EBAY not sure how much they run jOE
